The Bantu Queen is an African media personality, an artist, a motivational speaker and a Philanthropist. Her most popular musical and Deejaying name is BLACK BIRD. While for ministry related work and her gospel hip-hop she uses the stage name TEMPLE.
Nonkululeko ‘BANTU QUEEN‘ Kasongo Vundla was born in Zimbabwe to a South African father and Zambian mother who were living in exile during the apartheid era. The 34 year old female rapper was drawn to hip-hop at an early age and from as early as the age of 9, she was dubbing the cassettes and music videos of her favorite rappers.
